The Earth Day Spring Clean Returns!
From Inverness to Finale and beyond, join us this April for our 5th Anniversary Earth Day Spring Clean!

Earth Day is an international call to take action to protect the place we call home. We're calling on runners, riders and roamers to do your bit and clean up your trails.

Rally with your friends, family - or your whole community, and host an Earth Day Spring Clean over Earth Day weekend, April 19th - 22nd 2024.
216,000 items and counting
As of November 2023 our community has removed over 216,000 items of Single-Use Pollution from their wild places, cleaning over 5000km of trails and public rights of way.

We're working to achieve a Trash Free Future, but we need everyone to do their bit. Will you join them this Spring?
Rally Your Community
Spring is here at last. The days are longer and there's a touch of warmth in the midday sky. There's no better way to mark this moment than with a run, ride or roam, complete with a Spring Clean.

Fancy taking it one step further? Why not rally your community and host an Earth Day Spring Clean! Sounds daunting, but we've made it super simple with a handy digital pack. Whether it's just a group of mates or a town-wide event - we've got you covered.

Download your pack below. And! Don't forget to Register Your Spring Clean with us, so we can put it on the map!
How To Do an Earth Day Spring Clean
Whether you're heading out solo or your entire community's coming for the ride, follow these 3 simple steps from our A-TEAM for a safe and rewarding trail clean!
REMOVE
Remove! Get out there and remove any Single-Use Pollution you find. We recommend wearing gloves, using a picker if available to you, and take extra care if you counter any glass.
REPORT
Report! This is the fun bit. Use our helpful tally sheet to count up and categorise what you've removed, then submit your findings.
REWARD
Reward! You've just achieved something great. Be sure to reward yourselves, whether it's warm a slice of cake, a round of pints at the local, or with a couple of trash free rides before you head home!
The data you collect from your trails directly contributes to our scientific research. Learn more about The State of Our Trails here.

Celebrating 5 Years with
Not only does 2024 mark the fifth year of our Spring Clean campaign, but also of our Strategic Partnership with Trek!

2019 marked a huge turning point for Trash Free Trails - thanks to Trek we were able to host our first proper campaign. In the last five years we've grown from strength to strength, all with the steadfast support of the team at Trek.

We're stoked to be marking our 5 year partnership anniversary with an epic flagship Earth Day Spring Clean event in Bristol on Sunday April 21st. Meet us at the Bristol Trek store for a ride and trail clean across the city.
