The UK's trails and wild places are haunted by plastic pollution, but this Halloween we're joining forces with The North Face UK and the European Outdoor Conservation Association to fight back.
Now we're calling for hordes of trail loving 'TRASHBUSTERS' to take part in a week of Autumn Litter Watch actions this October the 23rd - 31st. From Trail Bandit Bingo to Halloween Trail Cleans, we have created a fun series of activities, spooky films and downloadable toolkits that we'd love you to use as inspiration to protect your home trails and habitats from terrifying trash this Halloween.
Trash Free Trails' Dom Ferris says; "Covid has taught us that we don't have to be together to work together to protect our trails and wild places. There are a world of purposeful adventures to be had from our doorsteps and what better time than Halloween to shine a searchlight on the plastic pollution that haunts our trails? And, dress-up and have fun of course! Haha"
