South West Coast Path Spring Clean

Join Trash Free Trails and Hayle Community for a Spring Clean!

Estimated Timings:

• 10.15 – Meet at Hayle Lido Car Park and walk to the bus stop (also wait at the bus stop for 10.20am) 

• 10.30 – Bus to Gwithian 

• 10.47 – Arrive in Gwithian – health and safety briefing, walk starts 

• 12.00 – Stop on route for packed lunch – walkers to bring – option to do some Trash Free Trails nature connection cards.

• 12.30 – Walk continues 

• 14.00 – Walk finishes back at Hayle, opportunity to head for a drink if the group wants (SWCPA Cannot provide) 

*Option for participants to do sections of litter picking, provided by Trash Free Trails. Depending on timings this will either be a constant litter pick, or a selected section.

Appropriate clothing: sturdy footwear, waterproofs, clothing suitable for weather  

Refreshments: Café at the start, couple of small cafes along the route. 

Toilet provision: Toilets at Gwithian 

Attendees: being co-ordinated by SWCPA – please make sure you book on 

Parking/transport: There is a bus on this activity, please bring either bus pass of £3
