Go Ape x Rivington Heritage Trust x Trash Free Trails

Join Go Ape, the Rivington Heritage Trust and Trash Free Trails for a free and friendly roaming Trail Clean and trash survey this autumn.

We'll explore the area, enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere, and help leave the trails a little better than we found them. And celebrate with some cakes and biscuits! Along the way we'll collect and survey any trash we find and contribute to the work of Trash Free Trails, helping protect the places we all love to visit.

This is a welcoming, community-focused event. It's simply an opportunity to enjoy a few hours on the trails with like-minded people while giving something back.

Who Is This Event For?

This event is open to all! It is worth noting however that Lever park can have a lot of uneven, potentially muddy terrain. Come along by yourself or bring some family and friends, you’ll be very welcome!

Why Join?

The trails don't stay beautiful by accident.

This is a chance to enjoy some nature, meet like-minded people and give something back to the local trails at the same time. Every piece of trash removed helps improve the outdoor spaces we all share.

THE DETAILS

• Aim to arrive by 9:50 to start at 10am. 

• Meet at the Go Ape Rivington Visitor Centre

• The day is 10am-3pm but there is no obligation to stay for the whole duration.

• Approx 1-8km distance covered depending on chosen route.

What To Bring:

• sturdy shoes, gloves and suitable clothing for the weather.

• Water and any snacks you may want.

• Well behaved four-legged friends are also welcome!

Trash-collecting equipment will be provided.
